Connect

Connection to each other is a gift we celebrate regularly through our various ministries.

Connection to each other is a gift we celebrate regularly through our various ministries. We are the hands, feet and heart of Christ in our community and beyond through hands-on service projects & interactive worship experiences. We celebrate holy days and special events as opportunities for all ages and for families, couples and individuals to creatively celebrate these special Church seasons and significant holy days at church and in the home.

Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of the Memorial Scholarship is to nurture a mind or talent that might otherwise be neglected. The award, to be given annually by the First United Church of Arvada, will be granted to a person who shows a clear direction towards making a contribution to humanity. Here’s an example of the scholarship details & application, which is awarded each May. Applications are typically due in April.

Outreach

The First United Church of Arvada is made up of very generous people who give their time, talent and treasure to follow their call to serve, both the church and the community at large. Many of our people spend much of their time in voluntary service; they give and serve with grateful hearts to many worthy causes, local, national, and international.
